Marrone Bio Innovations, Inc. (MBI) recently announced EPA approval of a new formulation of its dry biological insecticide. Grandevo WDG (Chromobacterium subtsugae strain PRAA4-1), which is a biological, microbial-based insecticide that contains several active compounds that repel, stop feeding and reduce reproduction to prevent the development of damaging populations of sucking and chewing insects, flies and mites.
"We are constantly working to enhance the customer experience with our products," said Pam Marrone, Ph.D., CEO and founder of MBI. "Not only are we bringing new innovative active ingredients to the market, but we continue to develop the next generations of the ones we have - new formulations and new uses for additional market segments, pests and crops."
Grandevo WDG offers improved handling and better, more convenient packaging. The water dispersible granule mixes easily in spray tanks with no dust or foam, which saves applicators valuable time to the field. Grandevo WDG comes in a convenient 25 pound bag ideal for 500-gallon spray tanks. Each bag has an easy tear-top that allow mixers convenient access.
