The US biopesticide company Phyllom BioProducts Corp. recently announced the submission of proprietary insect controls to the Canada Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA). grubGONE! and beetleGONE! have been widely anticipated by the green industry and consumers because they meet performance standards for control of forest, farm and landscape grub, beetle, weevil and tree borer pests without harm to bees, beneficial insect predators, wildlife or aquatic species.
“After the review is complete, Canadian sports turf, lawn, tree and crop care professionals can skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been in terms of insect control. We can embrace the future of insect control with grubGONE! and beetleGONE!” commented, Chris Stickles, Plant Products CEO and Phyllom’s professional and greenhouse markets distributor.
“Phyllom is grateful for the support it receives from collaborators, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Pest Management Centre, the province of Ontario and industry groups. They assist us with research support and advice as we work our way through the registration process.” said John Libs, CEO of Phyllom BioProducts.
