Bhupen Dubey recently has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Advanta Seeds, part of the UPL Group, with immediate effect. He succeeds Claudio Torres who has recently resigned to pursue other interests.
Bhupen Dubey’s professional career spans over three decades in a number of global enterprises such as Hoechst, Agrevo, Aventis and Bayer Crop Science. He joined UPL Group in 2003 and has held a number of senior management positions including his most recent role of Regional Director for India.

Bhupen Dubey is active in the community and holds several affiliations in social and scientific bodies such as the Indian Society of Naturalists, the Society of Pesticide, and the Indian Society of Weed Science. He has recently been appointed as Director of the Agriculture Skill Council of India.
As an active member of the NVA India Business Council he is leading a transformational multi-stakeholder project for the World Economic Forum. He has also been appointed to be the Director of Crop Life India, and is a member of the management committee for ABLE AG.

Bhupen Dubey’s academic achievements include a Gold Medal and the Dr. M. S. Swaminathan Scholarship for his post-graduate studies in Agriculture Science. He holds a Diploma in Sales and Marketing from Bhavan's College of Communication and Management, Mumbai.
