Progreen to launch new Kurtail Gold herbicide

Progreen's new glufosinate ammonium-based herbicide is approved for a wider range of uses than the original Kurtail, including hard surfaces, fence lines and sports turf line markings.

The 150g/L glufosinate ammonium product Kurtail Gold is also proven to control the weed marestail/horsetail.

Louise Boothman, Progreen business manager, said: "Kurtail Gold will not only continue to deliver Kurtail's proven horsetail/marestail control along with a wide range of annual, perennial weeds and grasses, but Kurtail Gold now has the additional advantage of having approval for greater areas of use.

"We believe Kurtail Gold will become this year's must-have weed control product for contractors as it now not only gives strong weed control but has a wider scope for use, being approved on hard surfaces, natural surfaces such as gravel, along fence lines and even for line marking on sports pitches.
