Lianhetech to raise 1.45b yuan for production of fluxapyroxad intermediates

Lianhetech recently announced raising funds of1.45 billion yuan for spending on the annual production of 400-ton LT822, 10-ton TMEDA, 20-ton MACC, and 15-ton AMTB intermediates, as well as on the annual 1000-ton pesticide intermediate LH-1 upgrade and the 9000-ton ammoxidation series, with some part of it set aside as working capital. Of these projects, the pesticide intermediate LH-1 upgrade will receive an investment of 300 million yuan.
 
The LT822, TMEDA, MACC, and AMTB are key intermediates in great demand for the production of pharmaceuticals to treat cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and depression. LH-1 is an important pesticide intermediate for the synthesis of the SDHI fungicide, presently used for the synthesis of fluxapyroxad. Fluxapyroxad is a systemic, highly conductive, and long-lasting fungicide, which is highly pathogen-targeted. It is very effective against pathogens that are resistant to triazole and methoxy-acrylate products. The product has a very promising market.
