Arysta appoints Sam Thornton Technical Sales Specialist

Arysta LifeScience North America recently announced the addition of Sam Thornton as a Technical Sales Specialist for seed treatments in the Northern Plains region.

In his role, Thornton will support the company’s Technical Sales Managers in support of the RANCONA Seed Treatment portfolio. He also will sell to customers who only work with seed treatment products, specifically in cereals, corn, soybeans and specialty seeds.

Most recently, Thornton worked as a sustainable solutions lead for Syngenta, covering the western United States and Canada. He also is past director of research and grower relations with the Washington State Potato Commission.

Thornton earned his Bachelor of Science in horticulture from Washington State University. He will work out of his home office in Moses Lake, Wash.
“With industry experience of more than 30 years, Sam will be an immediate asset to the Arysta LifeScience team in the Northern Plains,” said Steve Vining, Regional Sales Manager, Northern Plains, Arysta LifeScience. “His sales and development know-how will provide technical strength to continue to advance our seed treatment business in the region.”
