CropLife America (CLA) president and CEO Jay Vroom announced that Laisha Dismuke is promoted to administrative vice president and human resource director, effective immediately.
Dismuke brings over 12 years of professional experience in human resources and association administrative management that will contribute greatly to her success in a newly-expanded role that includes CLA member services and event planning oversight. For more than eight years, Dismuke served in an administrative and human resources capacity with CLA, her most recent role as senior director of human resources and administration. Before joining CLA, Dismuke served as human resources manager at an assisted living facility, which included an oversight of more than 150 employees.
“We are excited to acknowledge the many professional contributions that Laisha has made, and will continue to make, in both the administrative and human resource areas here at CLA. With her proven expertise and the enthusiasm she brings to her professional duties, she will continue to act as a credible resource for CLA in all administrative and human resource concerns,” said Vroom. Dismuke will continue to report to CLA executive vice president and chief operating officer William Kuckuck.
“No stranger to the CropLife America member and allied organization network, I know Laisha looks forward to more active participation and staff oversight of a number of CLA member committees and internal taskforces,” noted Kuckuck.
Dismuke received a Bachelor of Science from Clark Atlanta University and her Master of Science in Human Resource Management from University of Maryland University College. She is a member of a number of human resource professional associations.
