Bestway acquired by private investors, managers

A local private investor group, including two Bestway Management Team members, announced the acquisition of Bestway Inc. from Rick and Debbie Heiniger.

Re-organized as Bestway Sales, LLC, the acquisition includes the former Bestway Inc. facilities, sales, marketing and distribution assets.

Key to the acquisition is the retention of Bestway top management personnel, with Pat Meenen being appointed President and CEO and, and David C. Benson, Vice President, Sales and Marketing.

Quoting Pat Meenen, CEO for the new company, "This is an extremely positive development for us and provides us the opportunity to continue to provide Bestway dealers and customers the industry leading products and services they have become accustomed to.

The acquisition will introduce updated technology with an increased emphasis on new product development and marketing of our products, in line with our new corporate strategy".
