On 13th January, BASF (China) held an AgCelence event in Wanning, Hainan Province, in which BASF introduced the BASF Farmer Club APP, which attracted the attention of BASF’s prime distributors throughout China.
The BASF Farmer Club APP is the first agro-technical service-related mobile platform to become available in China from a pesticide multinational. The APP is free for downloading after an account has been registered and user information filled out, including a farmer’s address, crop planted, and scale of the planting.
The APP has powerful functions, covering weather forecasting, various crop farming instructions, insect damage-related information, and more. Also, the platform publishes public service information, which will be of benefit to all growers.
According to Jiang Weiqi, the fungicide marketing manager for BASF, the purpose of the BASF Farmer Club APP is to provide BASF’s clients with timely, comprehensive and accurate agro-technical services to enhance customer loyalty.
