From 22 – 24 November 2015, the 31st China Plant Protection Information Exchange & Pesticide and Sprayer Facilities Fair was held in Hefei, where BASF exhibited its new products for release in 2016 covering seed coating, fungicide and urea synergist.

The urea synergist Limoushi is a novel urease inhibitor developed by BASF using latest technology, which includes 2 kinds of active ingredients. The 2 active ingredients collaborate and complement each other, thus to inhibit the urease activity in the soil to prevent urea hydrolysis and to reduce formation of ammonia, resulting in a higher nitrogen use efficiency which gives a positive play to the crop production yield.

The seed coating agent Xinzun is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide with the plant health functions. It is a product of AgCelence series, which is effective against peanut-related soil-borne and seed-borne diseases. The film-forming agent Tongchi makes coating to be more uniform, makes seed more mobile, causes dust falloff, causes less loss of active ingredients and gives product a better performance.

The active ingredients of Jiangong are fluxapyroxad and difenoconazole, which prevent and control a variety of crop diseases. Yingteng, with Metrafenone being active ingredient, is a specialist on powdery mildew, providing plant with a comprehensive protection via the distinctive “mist coverage” technology. Bicui’s active ingredients are pyraclostrobin and dithianon, being a specific product against anthracnose, as supported by the AgCelence plant health functions. Seltima is a fungicide of AgCelence series, being a pyraclostrobin SC 10%, used for rice-oriented pest disease, especially rice blast.
