China Agritech, Inc., a leading national organic fertilizer manufacturer and distributor in China, has completed the construction and equipment installation at its new organic granular fertilizer facility in Xinjiang. This facility adds another 50,000 metric tons of capacity for the production of the companys organic granular fertilizers.

The 50,000 metric ton capacity at the Xinjiang facility adds to the existing 150,000 metric tons of organic granular fertilizer capacity which recently began production in Anhui and Harbin. The Xinjiang facility will provide organic granular fertilizers primarily under the "Green Vitality" brand name to the vast agricultural areas in northwestern China. The company also produces organic liquid fertilizers at Xinjiang with a capacity of up to 2,000 metric tons.

China Agritechs total organic fertilizer capacity now consists of 200,000 metric tons of organic granular and 13,000 metric tons of organic liquid fertilizers with application to a large variety of crops.

Mr. Yu Chang, chairman and chief executive officer of China Agritech, commented, "With the completion of the Xinjiang facility, we reached our strategic goal of attaining capacity for 200,000 metric tons of organic granular fertilizer. We will be able to offer farmers in the Northwestern China market a broader line of organic fertilizers to meet their needs from one source. With the new organic granular facilities in Anhui and Harbin in commercial operation, we can provide our high-quality organic fertilizers in Southern, Central, and Northeast China as well. Our new organic granular production facilities provide the capacity to support our growth over the next several years."
