After defining a list of eight plagues that represent greater phytosanitary risk in Brazil, the country's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) defined what products will be prioritized for analysis to control each one of the plagues. Ordinance 163/2015 and DSV 5/2015 related active ingredients will be evaluated first among those who were asked by companies. They are:
I. Boll weevil (Anthonomus grandis): Tolfenpyrad; Bifenthrin and gamma-cyhalothrin + Malathion
II. Asian Rust (Phakopsora pachyrhizie): Azoxystrobin + Tebuconazole + Mancozeb; Picoxystrobin + Tebuconazole + Mancozeb; Azoxystrobin + cyproconazole + Mancozeb; Picoxystrobin + benzovindiflupyr; Bixafen; Fluxapyroxad + Epoxiconazole + Pyraclostrobin; Metominostrobin + Tebuconazole; Azoxystrobin + benzovindiflupyr.
III. White mold (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum): Procymidone; Cyprodinil; fluazinam; Isofetamid; iprodione; Fluopyram; Procymidone + Fenpyrazamine; Cyprodinil + Fludioxonil;
IV. Coffee berryr borer ( Hypothenemus hampei): metaflumizone;
V. Helicoverpa armigera: Thiodicarb; Spinetoram + Methoxyfenozide; Indoxacarb; Metaflumizone; Lufenuron + Profenofos.
VI. Whitefly (Bemisia tabaci): Pyriproxyfen; Sulfoxaflor; Pyridaben; Diafenthiuron.
VII. Nematodes: Fluensulfone
VIII. Argentine Fleabane (Conyza bonariensis) and Sourgrass (Digitaria insularis): glyphosate ammonium salt; Sulfentrazone; Pyroxasulfone; Flumioxazin + Imazethapyr; Clethodim; Diafenthiuron; Mesotrione.
