On sep 8th, ADAMA held a launch ceremony in Guangzhou for its new fungicide Kusite (18%tebuconazole+ 11%azoxystrobin).
Kusite is of a unique ratio, which is a fungicidal mixture to prevent, kill and eliminate pathogenic bacteria, being very effective against ascomycetes, basidiomycetes, fungi imperfecti and oomycetes. Its multiple action sites against pathogenic bacteria would seldom cause resistance. It is of early-stage prevention effect, mid / late cure efficacy, capable of eliminating pathogenic bacteria, being a whole-course universal fungicide. It is registered in China as against insect pest and diseases like the early blight of tomato while globally used in crops such as fruit tree, vegetable, rice and wheat.
ADAMA China Sales & Marketing Manager Liu Jun said, “Kusite is absorbed rapidly up to 70% in 2 hours, which starts to effect quickly. This reduces the number of applications, very suitable to the raining weather of south China. Kusite can be used either for prevention or for cure purpose dependent on the diluted concentrations.”
ADAMA China Chief Business Officer Ziki Levavi said that as a global largest generic crop protection pesticide manufacturer, the company is dedicated to development of simple and effective crop protection solutions covering herbicide, insecticide, fungicide and plant growth regulator. ADAMA is targeting to become the No.1 formulation distributor in Chinese domestic market in 3 years’ time.
