Valagro initiates

The Intalian biostimulants and specialty nutrients company Valagro has recently initiated the first international roadshow for its biostimulant product Kendal Nem at the headquarters of Valagro in Italy.

Developed using exclusive GEA099 technology, Kendal Nem is a specific biostimulant which, in the soils affected by nematodes, parasites that are harmful for plants, works directly on the plant roots, increasing vegetative growth and root strength resulting in greater productivity in terms of both quality and quantity, even under adverse growth conditions.

Kendal Nem roadshow will include 25 events in 4 countries, two continents, totalling more than 7,000 km! The roadshow which will host training events, in-store activities, meetings and field days, open to distributors and farmers, opinion leaders and sectoral technicians, illustrating the potential benefits of Kendal Nem, a unique solution due to its distinctive ability to ensure complete nutrition to crops even in the presence of nematodes.

“It has been estimated” - explains Farm Product Manager Alfredo Sgrignuoli – “that the global crop loss caused by nematodes amounts to 100 billion dollars a year*.  These effects are often underestimated by operators in the sector. Therefore, Valagro wishes to promote greater awareness of this problem through Kendal Nem roadshow and to offer an innovative and effective solution that is suitable for all crops”.

After the launch event in Abruzzo, the tour will stop in five Italian regions, including Lazio, Campania, Puglia, Basilicata,  Sicily. In conjunction with the Italian dates, the roadshow will also visit Spain and Brazil, and end in Turkey on  October 23rd.
