China’s corn seed market will be driven by huge demand

According to the report “Research Report on China’s Corn Seed Industry in 2015” . A huge demand for seed has driven the development of the corn seed industry in 2014/15.
Seed is the most basic and the most important means of production in agricultural production.In 2013 China’s corn planting area was 36.31 million hectares, the corn output was 220 million tons, making corn China's largest grain crop variety.The market needed about 1.2 billion kg of seed, with a market size of about 3 billion Yuan in 2013.
Maize seed covers an area of 200,000 hectares in China, with a seed yield of 1.01 billion kg. With a stock of 990 million kg seeds in 2014, the total amount is 2.0 billion kg. Competition in the corn seed market has become increasingly fierce.
