Stockton launches Timorex Gold® in the Philippines

IsraelStockton Israel (STK) announced that its’ flagship product, Timorex Gold is now available in the Philippines for the control of Black Sigatoka in conventional and organic production of banana.
Last week, Stockton Agrimor Philippines Inc. launched its’ product Timorex Gold as the 1st Organic Fungicide for black Sigatoka control in conventional & organic production of bananas in pursuant of RA 10068 or otherwise known as the Organic Agriculture Act of 2010, registered in the country. Among a full house of guests who also attended the launch were key decision makers of the industry. The Honorable Proceso J. Alcala, Philippine Secretary of the Department of Agriculture was the guest speaker of honor at the event, who commended Timorex Gold, “The Philippines now have a green effective solution for the control of this devastating costly disease!” he explained. “Banana growers will now be able to meet the exportation requirements for residue free bananas.”
Timorex Gold is an excellent rotational tool for effective resistance management and is widely adopted for large-scale use in conventional and organic farming. It can be included in rotation programs to avoid cross-resistance during the season. Timorex Gold provides highly effective disease control, reduces the overall chemical load and harmful residue levels in the plant. It leaves no residues in the soil, water or air. It is harmless to beneficial insects and provides is safe for the user, as well as the environment.
During the event Prof. Moshe Reuveni, Chief Scientist of the Stockton Group explained, “Timorex Gold has demonstrated exceptional curative performance of the Mycosphaerella fijiensis in stages four and five, in the most intense disease pressure conditions. The natural components contained in Timorex Gold offer multiple modes of action bringing with it a new concept and dimension for a highly effective and sustainable control of Black sigatoka in bananas”
Timorex Gold is adopted for commercial use in the key banana growing countries for conventional and organic plantations, such as Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, India, Korea, Mexico, Nicaragua and Philippines.
