Laboratory Management Partners, Inc., the largest agricultural and environmental soil testing network in the U.S., announced that it has changed its name to Waypoint Analytical. The new name reflects the ongoing growth of the company.
“We are excited to announce our new name and bring all of our laboratories together as Waypoint Analytical,” said Waypoint Analytical President/CEO Scott McKee. “Our new name is representative of both the progression and destination of the company and speaks to our ongoing advancements in laboratory management and proprietary technology to serve the needs of our customers worldwide.”
Waypoint Analytical originated in 1971 as A&L Laboratories and Environmental Testing and Consulting (ETC). Since 2004, the company acquired several labs in the U.S. and retained its existing name under the parent company. These locations will now carry the Waypoint Analytical name. “We are actively seeking acquisition candidates to add to our growing network and welcome inquiries from reputable parties,” said McKee.
Waypoint Analytical has established its agricultural soil labs as reliable and timely provider of soil test data. The company’s technology focus is specialized in developing enterprise lab management software and patented lab instrumentation for both the agricultural and environmental laboratory industries. Using its systems, the company claims 98.5 percent on-time performance, providing next-day service on routine test packages.
Test services include soil, plant and water testing for the ag, horticultural and landscaping industries, and many locations provide full service environmental compliance testing.
