RhizoVital 42, a product based on a specific Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain, received approval in Canada as a fertilizer in June 2015.
Bacillus amyloliquefaciens is a natural soil bacterium, colonizing plant roots and multiplying in the rhizosphere. The preventative use of RhizoVIital 42 leads to stronger root growth and more vigorous plants.
RhizoVital 42 can be applied by drenching, spraying or dipping. Product registration was granted for use on various crops such as vegetables, strawberries, herbs, ornamentals, turf and wood plants. RhizoVital 42 is allowed to be used in agriculture and private residential areas.
RhizoVital 42 is produced by ABiTEP, a German company located in Berlin, and is distributed in Canada by Sylvar Technologies Inc.
