Bayer CropScience recently announced in Brazil that its fungicide Nativo® (trifloxystrobin+tebuconazole) had extended its applications to coffee. The product was already part of the portfolio of the company in the country to control pathologies on citrus, fruits, produce, and grains.
The account manager of coffee at Bayer CropScience, Bruno dos Santos, explains that the extension use of Nativo® will give farmers an alternative for the management of diseases on flowering of coffee plantations. "It acts in all stages of development of the fungus, protecting the coffee flower, promoting higher yields and grain quality".
Nativo now integrates Bayer's program "Muito Mais Cafe" (Much More Coffee), in which the proposal is to "understand the necessities of producers and develop solution" according to the needs and peculiarities of each region in Brazil.
"Muito Mais Cafe develops along with producers actions to widen the business possibilities. Besides the portfolio of products, the program offers exclusive services and personalized commercial tools aiming the management of crop sales, input purchases, among other things," explains the manager.
The official press was released by Bayer during the ExpoCafe, which took place in the state of Minais Gerais from July 1s to July 3.
