The Stockton Group (STK),a leader in plant extract-based crop protection innovation, announced that its biofungicide Timorex Gold® has obtained extension of its use to control ojo de gallo (
Mycena tricolor) and Cercospora (
Cercospora ) in Peru from the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation - SENASA. In April 2015,Timorex Gold®had already been approved for control of rust (
Hemileia vastatrix).
During research studies and field trials in coffee plantations, Timorex Gold® demonstrated a curative and preventive action in the control of pathogens, with unique performance even under the most intense pressure of disease conditions.Timorex Gold® offers an additional advantage in that it stimulates the growth of new shoots and new leaves, inducing the formation of new tissues, allowing for stress and chemical load reduction.
Timorex Gold®helps coffee growers achieve a sustainable crop, reducing damage caused by leaf rust and other diseases affecting coffee, thus enabling compliance with export requirements. It may be used in tank mixes, in program rotation and as a stand-alone product.
"Timorex Gold®is a natural, broad-spectrum biofungicide for the management and control of diseases in coffee crops during pre- or post-flowering, without affecting the harvest," told us Liliana Juarez, General Manager, Peru Stockton SAS." Peruvian coffee now has an excellent tool for coffee production disease control, as well as an eco-friendly product for the environment and its users."
Timorex Gold® is the smart way to grow.
