Ourofino launches new Emamectin Benzoate product in Brazil

BrazilThe new product are mainly for the states of Mato Grosso and Bahia, where are mostly affected by the caterpillar on cotton and soybean crops, and are only legally allowed because the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Supply (MAPA) has issued a declaration of state of phytosanitary emergency in several regions of both states.
The company has programmed over 20 events to launch the product in Mato Grosso alone. "Farmers need an efficient product and DesafioBR is capable to help them," affirms Everton Molina Campos, Marketing and Competitive Intelligence manager at Ourofino.
Prior to launching the product, even when the use of benzoate was not permitted, the company has made a website with technical information in order to guide farmers to better manage earworms. The website was called Helicoverpa Not Here Operation, translating from the original name in Portuguese (ww.ohan.com.br).
DesafioBR is the seventeenth product of Ourofino to release within five years. According to company, that is a result of a well-structure work supported by the research carried out in the Experimental Farm of Guatapará, in the state of São Paulo. There will be 50 more products from the farm to be part of the portfolio to the farmers.
Designed to control plagues on the soil and insects over several crops, SingularBR is another product of Ourofino, the only one in the market with a liquid formulation. SingularBR is an insecticide based on fipronil and acts as damaging the insect's central nervous system and killing it. "Executing an adequate soil management is the fundamental way for productivity gains, Singular BR help in this job," explains Antônio Nucci, the company's technical manager.
Ourofino Agrociência has a factory located in the city of Uberaba, southwest of São Paulo. The facility is considered the most modern in Latin America in this segment with an output capacity of 100 million liters per year.
