Bio Soja group has launched in the Brazilian market its new fluid fertilizer, which is named NHT® Super S. The company announces that the ferilizer will be an "adequate solution to supply the lack of sulfur on crops in order to guarantee a good development of plants". According to the manufacturer, the product has a "high content of sulfur, increasing productivity and favoring crop growth and fruitage".
According to the Bio Soja group, NHT® Super S is a liquid product and should be used to spray crops under the preplant time and directed to the grooves. Differently than other products available, it has very small particles, which allows a gradual oxidation of the bacterias.
The sulfur, which is a fundamental element on the production of regulators of crops, is not often used on nutritional programs in Brazil. "Because it is transformed by microorganisms, it is very hard to maintain the sulfur on a soil surface at enough volumes to attend the plant necessities, needing an annual replacement to maintain a productive soil," explains José Roberto de Castro, market and development director at Bio Soja group.
Godofredo Vitti, a professor at the University of São Paulo, a soil and nutrion expert, explains that the NHT® Super S forms determining quality substances bringing vital functions to protein metabolism and enzymatic reactions. It is also part of the formation of some amino acids and, therefore, is present on all vegetable proteins.
Publications authored by researcher Eurípedes Malavolta indicate that the use of sulfur produced an increase of 37% on productivity on cotton, 41% on coffee, 28% on kidney beans, 26% on wheat, 24% on soybeans, 21% on corn, 18% on citrus, 16% on rice and 11% on sugarcane. The product is also recommended for species such as produce, legumes or any vegetables.
