AgroPages-Pinnacle Seed hires R&D manager-Agricultural news

California’s Pinnacle Seed recently added Mike Koda to its team as manager of research and development. In this role, Koda will be responsible for the development of new high-yielding lettuce varieties.

Prior to joining Pinnacle Seed, Koda was seed production manager at Progeny Advanced Genetics and research associate at Plant Sciences, Inc.

Koda obtained his Bachelor of Science in crop science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, in 2002 before completing a master’s level certificate program from the Plant Breeding Academy at the University of California, Davis.
