China's glyphosate export value up 8% month-on-month in January 2015

According to the data released by the Chinese General Administration of Customs, China’s glyphosate export volume increased by 9.0% to 63,426 tonnes in January 2015 compared with December 2014, with value up 7.9% to $187.7 million.
 
In January 2015, the glyphosate technical export volume and value went up by 16.1% and 13.2% respectively, reaching 26,195 tonnes and $106.3 million month on month.

The export volume of glyphosate formulations recorded an increase of 4.5% to 37,232 tonnes, and export value increased by 1.7% to $81.5 million compared with the previous month. There are 10 specifications of the product exported, including 41% IPA (glyphosate-isopropylammonium AS), 51% IPA, 62% IPA and etc.

The price of technical glyphosate presented a downward trend in January 2015.Most of glyphosate formulations’ prices also saw negative growth or kept stable compared with the previous month.

There are 151 companies exported glyphosate from China in January 2015. In terms of export volume, Sichuan Leshan Fuhua Tongda Agro-chemical Technology Co., Ltd. ranked first, with export volume of 9,300 tonnes, followed by Shandong Weifang Rainbow Chemical Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Wynca Chemical Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Good Harvest-Weien Agrochemical Co., Ltd. and Zhenjiang Jiangnan Chemical Co., Ltd.
