Triafamone is a selective soil herbicide developed by Bayer with broad spectrum and pre- and post-emergence application. The active ingredient inhibits the function of acetolactate synthase (ALS inhibitor) in plants when absorbed through the roots and leaves. It controls grassy weed water grass and broadleaf weeds, including Eclipta alba and Ludwigia.

Penflufen is a SDHI fungicide for seed treatment developed by Bayer. Seeds treated with penflufen gains better protection from pathogenic fungus. Penflufen was first approved and launched in UK in 2011 with product name Emesto. In 2012, it received registration in US, Canada and Ukraine. Bayer entered a supply agreement with Pioneer for soybeans in US and for EverGol Energy, a co-formulation of prothioconazole and metalaxyl. Bayer CropScience plans to develop customer-oriented solutions based on penflufen to improve agricultural productivity in broad-acre crops such as oilseed rape/canola, soybeans, corn, cereals, cotton and rice. Global sales of penflufen were less than $10 million in 2012.
