We are seeking a Research Manager to join our syndicated research team at our global headquarters in Newbury, Berkshire.
Job description, responsibilities
The main purpose of the Research Manager would be:
• To provide support in the editing of quantitative data for global syndicated multi-client study programmes
• To supply data and analyses as requested to meet internal and external clients’ needs
• Provide support to the UK syndicated and custom research team
Key Activities would include:
• Responsibility for editing datasets for syndicated study programmes in agriculture
• Identify and secure data to populate products and other relevant agricultural data in UK and Europe for in-house sampling tools
• Working with the global team in the development of innovative market quantification and other research studies
Experience, skills and competencies required
• Agricultural degree level (or equivalent) with focus on crop rather than livestock production
• BASIS qualified (Crop Protection) would be advantageous
• Agronomy experience in the Crop Protection industry
• An understanding and/or experience of market research in agriculture would be beneficial but not essential
• A practical working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
• A high level of numeracy with the ability to undertake extended data analysis
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills working in a team environment
• Candidate would need to be self-starting with the full support of the team in the UK
