China approved 17 new pesticide ais registrations in 2014

The Chinese Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) approved the new registrations of 17 pesticide active ingredients in 2014, covering 10 herbicides, 4 fungicides, 3 insecticides.
Multinationals gained 7 ais registrations. Dow AgroSciences’ herbicide Halauxifen-methyl (ArylexTM active) was initially registered globally, and Syngenta's fungicides Sedaxane and lsopyrazam also got the approvals.
Chinese companies obtained 10 ais registrations. Two new innovation ais from Hunan Haili have gained registrations, one is HNPC-A2005 (Lab code, no common name now) for use on tea against caterpillar, and the other is HNPC-A3061 for control of prodenia litura on cabbage. The details are as follow:
