Chinese agchem company Lier Chemical recently released that the company plans to construct the production lines and support facilities for the project of 1000 tons/annual glufosinaate-ammonium intermediates, which was agreed during its board meeting. Through self-financing, the company prepares to invest yuan 72 million to built those new facilities at its Mianyang base, Sichuan.
Previously, approved during the 2013 General Meetings of Shareholders, the company plans to build 2000 tons/annual of such facilities at its new base in Guangan, Sichuan. However, due to slow approval process by the government, which will make production below expectations more likely, Lier reached into consensus to start the project in Mianyang with already approved environmental evaluations by the government.
