The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has proposed full registration for Marrone Bio Innovations' biofungicide Reynoutria sachalinensis and its end-use product Regalia Maxx, to suppress dollar spot and foliar anthracnose in turf. Regalia Maxx was registered in Canada to supress a variety of diseases on field and greenhouse edible crops and ornamentals in 2012. The ais, extract of Reynoutria sachalinensis, is a naturally occurring constituent of the plant, Reynoutria sachalinensis (common name: giant knotweed). The public comment is open until December 15th.
