India CIBRC 351th meeting approved 7 pesticide technical registrations

The Indian Central Insecticides Board and Registration Committee (CIBRC) has approved the registrations of 7 pesticide technicals at the meeting of the Registration Committee on September, 30, 2014, including 3 insecticides, 2herbicides and 2 fungicides.
For registration type, 2 products are the 9 (3) registrations for export purpose, the other 5 products registrations belong to the 9 (4) - "Me-Too” registration.

9(3) registrations: This guideline is for registering a new pesticide (technical grade or formulation) or registering a new import source of technical grade pesticide or first time indigenous manufacture of technical grade pesticide or formulation. This is a permanent registration and does not require any renewal.
9(4) registrations: This is Me-too registration for indigenous manufacture of technical grade pesticide and formulations and import of pesticides from already registered source.
