Argentina launches good use agchem campaign

Argentina's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fishery launched a campaign to promote "Good agchem practices" to push for a correct use of agchem in agriculture.
The campaign includes a coordinated set of techniques of agrochemical application aiming to assure that the product reaches its maximum efficiency with a minimum of 'drift'. During the event, it gave a demonstration of different operations on the aerial and terrestrial application of agchem products. The programmed demonstrations also included preparations and transport of the mixtures, and disposal of containers used for future recycling.
The Secretary of Agriculture Ministry, Gabriel Delgado, highlighted the farmers responsibility. He said " we should maintain a permanent dialogue between the public and the private in order to reach our goals in the short, mid, and long-term".
