Syngenta to open seed care institute in Mexico

Syngenta plans to install Seed Care Institute in Jalisco, Mexico. This new institute will be used for seed safety testing, treated seeds analysis, seed preparation for trials, formulation development and application, as well as plantability testing.
The company’s CEO Javier Valdés said "The goal is to help farmers increase their productivity and make agriculture a profitable activity. Without care to plant roots and seeds, farmers can lose up to 50% of more of their investment in crops"
