The US EPA has proposed the approval of Northwest Agricultural Products’s bioherbicide Pseudomonas fluorescens strain D7 as a new active ingredient. This ai is proposed for use in field applications for suppression of downy brome (cheatgrass), medusahead, Japanese brome and jointed goatgrass or fields of turf and grasses grown for seed, alfalfa, wheat, barley and etc. The public comment period will be closed on August 27th 2014.
