Aug. 6, 2014
For the first half of 2014, the sales of Isagro was characterized by a strong recovery. The sales jumped by 20.1% to €72.9 million and EBITDA soared up by 346.3% to €6.9 million, versus €1.5 million in the first half of 2013. EBIT recorded around €2.6 million, versus €3.3 million loss at the same period of 2013.
The sales of first half of 2013 was negatively affected by the “carried-over” effect of 2012 drought that hit some markets of great relevance for Isagro, and by the start of the commercial cooperation with the partner Gowan in the US and in Italy.
Outlook
In the light of the achievement of 2014 first half expected results, Isagro confirms the reasonableness of the targets of Revenues (around €150 million) and EBITDA (around €15 million) set for the current year and contained in the Business Plan 2014-2018.
