AgroPages-Win-All seed, Zhejiang University apply for GM maize research project-Agricultural news

Chinese seed company Win-All High-Tech Seed and Zhejiang University have jointly applied for a government research project entitled ” Research and industrial production of Insect-resistant maize”.

The cultivation and industrialization of GM maize seed is becoming one important part of Chinese maize industry. China's Ministry of Agriculture have listed” Research and industrial production of Insect-resistant maize” as one of the major transgenic projects in 2015, and allocated funds to support such research.

The company said it has established scientific research cooperation with Zhejiang University for many years. This joint application will give full play to their respective research and industrialization edges, and has a positive role in promoting China’s maize industry development.
