Jiangsu Anpon's ethephon project approved

Chinese company Jiangsu Anpon Electrochemical recently received the completion approval of ethephon project with 10,000 tons/a production by the Chinese Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Commission (JEITC). 

As one of the most widely used plant growth regulators(PGRs), ethephon has been broadly used on cotton, balata, vegetables and fruits to accelerate ripening. The annual sales of ethephon remained at more than $100 million.  

Being the largest ethephon producer in China and the second largest in the world, Anpon is able to manufacture ethephon with various contents. Anpon has registered 4 ethephon dosage forms, including ethephon technical, 70% and 40% aqueous solution, and 5% paste concentration. The company is also developing new aqueous solutions and soluble powders to enrich product structure and diversity. 
  
In order to hold the leading position at ethephon production, Anpon has innovated their major ethephon production technologies and equipments in recent years. The completion approval of ethephon project is a new step for the company to continually improve production technologies and product quality.
