Syngenta presents ELATUS ™ fungicide against Asian Rust in Brazilqrcode

Syngenta presents, from May to August, the ELATUS ™ Road Show in 60 municipalities in Brazil that produce soybean. The initiative marks the launch of this new technology, the most efficient for the control of Asian Rust in more than ten years. Around 20 thousand farmers of the Midwest, Northeast, Southeast and South regions will have the opportunity of meet this solution through nightly sessions with a 360-degree projection and special effects.

The presentation will show the features, benefits and the contribution of the new product for the sustainable production of soybeans. The launch of ELATUS ™ is aligned with the global initiative The Good Growth Plan, in which one of the spotlights is increased productivity by up to 20% soy until 2020.

The disease Asian Rust that generated losses for soy producers for R$28.3 billion in the period 2001-2010, is controlled through the unprecedented action of ELATUS ™. "Our fungicide is a ready mixture of two active ingredients, capable of delivering efficiency never before seen in rust control nor in the most common soybean diseases, offering more productivity and more income for the producers," explains Leo Zappe, Marketing Manager of Syngenta fungicides.

In each city that the ELATUS ™ Road Show visits, three public sessions of up to 100 participants will be arranged. "The idea is to demonstrate the new fungicide from Syngenta in a unique way, impactful and innovative. We want the soybean sector to experience all the benefits of ELATUS ™ through a show of images and sounds in an unusual structure, "says Renata Moya, Promotion and Advertising Manager of Syngenta.

The global initiative, The Good Growth Plan, is a global strategy of Syngenta to face the main challenges of food security, economic development and care with the rural producer as well as preservation of biodiversity and increased productivity with efficiency in the use of resources.
