A few days ago Sinofert Holdings Limited announced the forthcoming launch of the slow-release corn fertilizer – Lanlishi, as having been developed by its wholly-owned subsidiary Sinochem Yantai Crop Nutrition Ltd.
Lanlishi is an enhanced novel slow-release fertilizer made via a special process by incorporating ‘Banneng’, a new-generation microcapsule suspension nitrogen fertilizer synergist of Dow Agrosciences, which can control effectively the microbial activation of nitrosobacteria to reduce the ammonium-to-nitrate transformation so as to avoid loss of nitrogen caused by leaching. Therefore nitrogen is released slowly for longer period and be absorbed fully to facilitate enhanced utilization of fertilizer. Meanwhile the nutrition required by corn is supplied with additional nutrient in a balance manner, which enables the healthy growth of crop and enhance its disease-resistance and stress resistance capability, resulting in high efficiency and higher yield.
Sinofert is the exclusive partner of Dow Agrosciences in China on fertilizer synergist ‘Banneng’, the synergist is an upgraded product of the N-Server of Dow Agrosciences being a microcapsule suspension which can stay effective in soil for over 6 months. Lanlishi is tested in the lab of Dow Agrosciences, the results show that the added ingredients of synergist are proved to be distributed evenly and maintained stable during the 2-week testing at 540C with zero loss.
