Innvictis Crop Care Launches EndurX and S^3 Technology

Innvictis Crop Care, LLC recently announced the launch of two patented and proprietary technologies. Developed and tested in 2012 and 2013, Innvictis will be launching 4 products containing EndurX and S^3. Each of these were developed to mitigate pesticide loss and poor performance due to stressful environmental conditions.

Patented S^3 Technology is premixed into crop protection products where systemic activity is key to product performance. S^3 Technology attaches to the pesticide molecule and leads it through the plant for greater systemicity and better activity. Greg McManic, Director of Research and Development at Innvictis, highlights Avenger S^3 as the crown jewel of this family. Avenger S^3 is a three way mixture of Imidacloprid, bifenthrin and S^3. “To demonstrate the dramatic improvement S^3 offers, we did an extensive C14 test where we radiolabeled standard imidacloprid and Avenger S^3. The standard imidacloprid, generally known as a systemic product, only resulted in about 14% plant uptake. The Avenger S^3 demonstrated a 60% level of plant uptake. That is an incredible difference due to the insertion of the S^3 technology. Each droplet is essentially super charged. The benefit to this is that under stressful conditions, whether hot/dry, cold/wet or low water volumes, the droplets that do hit the target are highly active and help mitigate the environmental challenges. This results in increased efficacy and better control.”

Innvictis will insert this technology and launch two products that often face stressful environmental challenges such as weather and dense foliage. Avenger S^3 is a contact and systemic insecticide that combines the residual and knockdown activity of bifenthrin with the systemic and complementary mode of action insecticide Imidacloprid. The second product will be Avatar S^2 which is a combination of the popular grass herbicide clethodim and the insertion of the S Technology for greater activity.

EndurX Technology is a second patented technology platform that improves the activity and performance of contact pesticides. Endurx uniquely locks to the pesticide molecule in the droplet and upon hitting the leaf surface rapidly spreads and immediately penetrates the leaf. The EndurX drives the active ingredient to the leading edge of the droplet so that when it hits the pest or the leaf, more AI is at the target interface and attacks the target site much quicker. EndurX will also provide greater translaminar leaf penetration which protects the pesticide from drying and wash off of the leaf surface. The pesticide stays active and available improving performance and mitigating loss to environmental exposure. EndurX is available in Reveal EndurX, a premix of bifenthrin and EndurX; and in the future will be available in Voltage EndurX – a three way of bifenthrin, chlorpyrifos and EndurX.

All four products are registered by the US EPA and are expected to be available for the 2014 growing season.
