Cheminova launches Saracen and Spitfire herbicides

Cheminova recently launched new herbicide products Saracen® and SPITFIRE™ 50 SC with florasulam in Europe and North America.

The first launch of Saracen® is in Denmark with a 50 g/l straight formulation. It will also be marketed in Denmark in a twin can with a fluroxypyr 200 g/l product to benchmark existing mixtures in the market.

SPITFIRE™ 50 SC is launched this spring in Canada, also as a 50 g/l straight formulation.It is used in two ways, either pre-emergence in tank mix with glyphosate (Burndown) or post-emergence in tank mixtures with other herbicides.

Florasulam has proven its efficacy against cleavers and a wide range of broad-leaved weeds for more than 15 years.

Increasingly, cereal growers around the world count on this active ingredient for high crop safety at low dose rates – with a wide application window.
