Malaysia approves AEF Global and B CUBE Enviro's biopesticide BREVA

Canadian company AEF Global recently announced that its distributor in Malaysia, B CUBE Enviro Sdn Bhd has received approval from the Malaysian Pesticide Board to commercialize BREVA, a novel biopesticide for use in oil palm plantations for the management of Tirathaba larvae and bagworms.

Following trials done in Malaysia under the supervision of Mr Kian Guan Teo from B CUBE the successful results have convinced the Pesticide Board to grant approval for use in this large crop in Malaysia. It will permit growers and plantation owners to offer an even more ecological treatment strategy to chemical products and contribute to the safety of the oil palm plantation workers.

Mr Kian Guan Teo stated that:"BREVA will provide the oil palm plantations with an environmentally sustainable alternative to harmful chemicals in the treatment of significant pests like Tirathaba larvae and bagworms. We are very encouraged by the approval of the Pesticide Board of Malaysia for BREVA and the commitment of many oil palm plantations to strive towards sustainable development."
