AgroPages-US to approve MBI's insecticide Venerate-Agricultural news

The US EPA has proposed to approve Marrone Bio Innovations’ manufacturing-use pesticide product MBI-206 TGAI and an end-use pesticide product Venerate containing the active ingredient Heat-killed Burkholderia spp. strain A396 Cells and Spent Fermentation Media. In addition, Venerate is proposed for use as an insecticide to be applied to food crops,ornamentals and turf and as a seed treatment to control a wide variety of insect pests. The public comments have been opened until Feb 21, 2014.
