Ukraine amends the application for state registration of pesticide

Ukrainian Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources have recently announced some amendments on the application for state registration of pesticide and/or agrochemical product.

From 2014 applicant should guarantee that upon state registration of the claimed product the intellectual property rights of third parties covered by the Patent of Ukraine, which protects the authorship and ownership on substance and/or process of manufacture of substance, and/or new application of substance or process of manufacture of substance will not be infringed.

Applicant agrees that in case the court establishes the fact of infringement of intellectual property rights of third parties covered by the Patent of Ukraine the state registration of the product will be refused or the state registration will be annulled.

Also in accordance with the above-mentioned Order it is necessary to indicate the detailed information (name, address, telephone, fax) of the manufacturer of an active ingredient.
