Makhteshim-Agan picks Norbert for agro-chemical distribution

The Israeli Agrochemical Company Makhteshim-Agan UK, has awarded Norbert Dentressangle a three-year UK storage and distribution contract.

Norbert will extend MAUK's daily order cut off time from 2pm to 4pm for next day delivery, as part of the deal, as well as introduce a daily next-day delivery service in Scotland.

It will also be responsible for the receipt of all product into the UK from the manufacturer's global supply partners,and handle storage at MAUK's Amber Park facility, near Mansfield.

MAUK’s finance director Mark Sabine said: “Norbert Dentressangle has worked hard to understand our business, and the service levels our industry demands, so following a highly successful trial period, we look forward to working in partnership with the company as we continue to develop and grow our business into the future.”

As well as manufacturing plant protection products, Makhteshim-Agan distributes its products to farmers and growers through 45 subsidiaries in more than 120 countries, including the UK.
