AgroPages-US to clear versitudeTM peptide bioinsecticide-Agricultural news

The US EPA has proposed to approve Vestaron Corporation’s manufacturing-use pesticide product(VST-006325 TGAI)and an end-use pesticide product(VST-006325 EP) as versitudeTM peptide based on the active ingredient GS-omega/Kappa-Hxtx-Hvla. It is proposed for use as an insecticide to be applied to ornamentals, and several food crops to suppress cabbage looper. The agency has opened the public comments until Jan 29, 2014.
