Eduardo Estrada Whipple(50) is taking office as president of Bayer CropScience for Brazil and Latin America this month. Having more than 25 years of experience leading businesses in the region, the new president will continue implementing Bayer CropScience’s growth strategy, pursuing market leadership.
“Our objective is to broaden the activities of Bayer CropScience in the Latin American agricultural market, boosting our consolidated platform to access the market, and offering new technologies including seeds, biological and chemical defense, crucial to guarantee maximum crop productivity. Our company is well known for its dedication to research and innovation, and our aim is to guarantee that our sustainable and integrated solutions reach the grower”,said Estrada.
Estrada also stressed that “sustainable market growth – core of our strategy– is essential, since it contributes significantly to the competitiveness of the region. In that respect, I’m sure that Bayer CropScience will consolidate as a referent, expanding even further our successful cooperation as an ally of the agricultural sector of the region.”
The executive, who was until then in charge of the Marketing Management of Bayer CropScience for Latin America, has worked in the United States, Central America, Colombia and Brazil. He has dual nationality –Guatemalan and American–, and he graduated in Food and Agricultural Engineering from Cal Poly State University, in San Luis Obispo, California (USA), and holds an MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management, Arizona (USA).
