AgroPages-Dow appointed new product manager for UK fungicide market-Agricultural news

Dow AgroSciences has appointed Ian Corr as product manager for fungicides and insecticides as part of its ongoing investment in new product development for the UK.

Mr Corr joins Dow AgroSciences UK from the company’s New Zealand Global Field Research Station where, for the past two and a half years, he has been working on early stage research of new chemistry destined primarily for the EU market.

In this newly created role, Mr Corr will focus on commercialising a number of new fungicide and insecticide molecules which are in the company’s development pipeline.

Dow AgroSciences managing director, Scott Boothey says: “We are putting significant investment into developing new fungicide and insecticide chemistry for the UK and Ian brings a wealth of relevant experience which will be invaluable as we prepare to launch new chemistry.”
