Arysta LifeScience Corporation has announced recently it has successfully launched DELSOL® soil biostimulant in Poland, following the signing of a global licensing agreement with French-based Delbon SAS nearly a year ago. Over the last few years, Arysta LifeScience Poland has introduced more than 12 biostimulants to the market.
DELSOL contains the microorganism Pseudomonas putida, which produces fluorescent siderophores, allowing farmers to grow crops in difficult soil conditions by preserving beneficial microbial soil activity and optimizing soil’s nutritional capacity. It is a ready-to-use product in liquid form that can be used on various crops including top fruits, berries, vegetables, row crops and tobacco.
“For several years, we have observed extremely dynamic development in the biostimulants category,” said Jerzy Pątek, President, Arysta LifeScience Poland. “DELSOL has been a very complementary addition to our portfolio of other biostimulants and traditional crop protection products. Our next milestone for DELSOL is to transition its registration from fertilizer to growth stimulator, which will more clearly indicate its beneficial function in crop production.”
“We have been evaluating the performance of DELSOL on a representative range of crops for the past few years,” explained Leszek Baranski, owner of AGROSIMEX, the exclusive DELSOL distributor in Poland. “It was a challenging project, but we achieved good results and gathered a lot of experience that will help us support farmers in obtaining high and good quality yields.”
“We are extremely happy to see how fast our product is developing,” added François Deleuze, CEO of Delbon. “Poland is the first country where we launched DELSOL together with Arysta LifeScience, and already this year we have seen very promising results. This cooperation will allow all of us to maximize the market potential for DELSOL in Poland.”
