Syngenta plans to enter the Angolan market in 2014, the group’s director for Africa and the Middle East, Jan Suter said in Basel.
During a visit by the Angolan ambassador to Switzerland, Suter said that the group was following Angola’s economic development, as it might have a role to play in agricultural production in the country given the types of product it sells.
Suter also told the ambassador that the group would be part of a business mission die to travel to Angola in April 2014 and added that a team would later be sent to evaluate water resource potential, arable land and agronomy training schools.
