Eurofins acquires Grayson Sesearch

US-based Eurofins Agroscience Services Inc. has acquired contract research organization (CRO) Grayson Research, LLB. Prior Grayson owners Joel Panara and Tami Belcher will become vice presidents in the company, announces a Eurofins press release. The North Carolina, US-based CRO provides worker exposure testing and project management services throughout North America.

Eurofins Agroscience Services Inc. is a CRO and leading provider of field and scientific research services, product development consultancy, and technical support to the crop protection industry, with technical activities that include conducting field and laboratory studies to determine the safety and efficacy of new pesticides, agrochemicals, and crop varieties.

Eurofins Agroscience Services was founded in the EU and began working in North America in 2006; it currently owns wholly owned field facilities in Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina, Florida, and California; a dedicated study management team; and a specialized environmental and worker exposure function. Its primary focus over the next 12 to 18 months will concentrate on actively growing the business and creating a nation-wide network of facilities in all of the key regulatory growing areas of North America.
